A Ribbon for Riya
On Friday, 3 1/2 year old Riya was proud to receive her first ever badge at her swimming class American Swim Academy!
12 sessions of fun in water and a little help from her teacher Devana, little Riya can now:
(A) Get in/out of water safely
(B) Do 1+ "Bob(s)"
(C) Underwater 3+ secods
(D) Assisted back float
(E) Reach, grab wall, climb out
And for all this she has got a Badge:-
Proud Riya couldn't stop talking about it and now she is looking forward for her next badge very eagerly. Mom and Dad are super proud of their little guppy fish and couldn't stop talking about it for the whole weekend!

Sounds like an exciting event! Congrats to your daughter on her badge. I remember moving up each level of swimming growing up. :) Beautiful ribbon.

That is super! I had very poor success teaching my boys to swim (they eventually learned enough to sort of get by, but holy cow, what a slog!). So keep encouraging your little guppy and help her love it!
